Kids love crêpes, they are easy to make and you can serve them with just about anything: chocolate, jam, or even make savoury ones, which are more nutritious. Couldn’t you just eat one right now?
Ingredients (makes 6 to 8):
- 2 eggs
- 2 spoons sugar
- 2 spoons oil
- 1/2 glass milk
- 2 spoons cake flour
- Salt
Method:
- Put all the ingredients (except the salt) into a bowl.
- Beat until you have a fairly thick batter.
- Put a frying pan over a low heat with a little salt and warm until the salt burns. Remove with paper towel. This stops the batter from sticking.
- Pour in a little batter and swirl to spread, to make thin crêpes.
- When both sides are golden, remove from the frying pan and pour in more batter for the next crêpe.
- When you have a stack, it’s time to fill them with the ingredient of your choice: chocolate spread, jam…
What’s yours?
